LORD GANESHA GROUP MEDITATION DURING LUNAR ECLIPSE 11-19-21
The Eclipse season is back and it starts with a partial Lunar Eclipse in Krittika nakshatra on Nov 19, 2021.
The Lunar Eclipse is a powerful time for meditation, contemplation, prayer, mantra chanting, Japa (mantra repetition) and other spiritual practices. It is wise to avoid materialistic pursuits at this time, and instead to look within and connect with your spiritual self.
This is not a favorable time to make important decisions about things such as job changes, marriage, moving home, high-value purchases or investments. Be aware that your emotions may fluctuate during this time.
Krittika nakshatra is often called the “cutting star” as the symbol of this star is a sharp object, like a knife or a dagger. This Nakshatra is ruled by the planet Sun and spans across the sign of Aries and Taurus.
The Krittika lunar mansion appears as a group of 6 stars more commonly known as the Pleiades (Kritika in Sanskrit) and refer to the 6 mothers that cared for Lord Kartikeya or Skanda, the warrior God and so of Shiva (the destroyer), connected to the planet Mars.

Here is what you will need for this Lord Ganesh ceremony!
Gather other items you'll need to gain Ganesha's favor. Ganesha is very fond of sweet treats, the color red, sweet smelling scents, and more. Before you begin to worship Ganesha, you need to gather all of these items so that you'll be able to do it properly.
Prepare sweet treats to offer Ganesha.
Find some sweet smelling fragrances, like incense or fresh flowers, to have around when you worship Ganesha.
If you do not have all of this that is no problem because we will have our altar set up to give offerings on your behalf ! The link to join this event is below !
Cover your head with a dupatta (scarf, stole) if you're a lady. A dupatta is a scarf or a stole. If you're a woman, you should wear a scarf or stole to show your deference to Lord Ganesha. Covering your head will help bring his benevolence upon you.
Burn incense as an offering. Procure some dhoop (dhoop bati) incense. Dhoop is a specific type of frank incense used in the worship of Hindu deities. The dhoop helps to purify the home and person and as a preparation for devotion. Also consider other forms of creating scent and aromas that might be pleasing to Lord Ganesha:
Hibiscus flowers.
Garlands.
Rouli and Mouli.
We will be using benzoin resin, frankincense and myrrh to invite Lord Ganesha as he removes obstacles !
Benzoin is burned for purification, astral projection, clears negative energy, emotional balance, eases sadness, depression, weariness, grief, anger, anxiety and to attract prosperity.
When burned, Benzoin has a nice vanilla undertone with earthy balsam notes and is a commonly used church incense for its potent effects.
Benzoin is best used to provide focus and enhance concentration. It is a desirable herb for those seeking a journey into the astral world. Magickally, Benzoin promotes generosity and can open a closed spirit suffering from selfishness.

Lord Agni is the deity of Kritikka Nakshatra – Lord Agni is invoked in all the fire ceremonies or homas and he acts as the transporter of our wishes, desires and prayers to the divine. Lord Agni and the fire element can be used for purification as well as destruction. So it is important today to choose silence and peace over arguments and confrontations. There are chances that your ego may be challenged. In the process of proving your point avoid heated discussions. Agni is also the carrier of our desires, so we can use its energy for inner work and spiritual practices, which when done during this Eclipse season can bring us additional benefits. You can chant the Agni mantra 108 times to align – “Aum Agnaye Namah” 108 times.
With this eclipse and full moon we will collectively seek to annihilate the three impurities, namely, egoism, selfish action and delusion. Burn the mind, senses and desires in the fire of knowledge of the Self or Shiva!
